New Art!
This limited edition relief print was carved by hand on linoleum in 2026 and pressed on small-batch paper in 75 signed and numbered editions. The paper is made from gampi fibers and is thin and soft, yet very strong with lightly textured fiber inclusions for an expressive surface and character. Made by an eight-generation company in Tokushima, Japan - the business creates sustainable, eco-friendly, acid-free paper that truly stands apart and an ideal backdrop for my work. The ink is an oil-based, but non-toxic ink handcrafted in Great Britain.
“Elephant Shrews are tiny insectivorous mammals that have long flexible trunk-like noses and hop around like tiny rabbits and are quite rare to encounter. I think they're pretty adorable and deserving of some love. Their population has been threatened because of habitat fragmentation and forest loss and organizations like African Wildlife Foundation are working hard to change that.”
